- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 cup non-fat milk
- 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. brandy
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp. chopped dried strawberries
In a small saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, and cornstarch. Gradually stir in milk, corn syrup, brandy and vanilla. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in dried strawberries. Serve warm, or at room temperature, over angel food cake, ice milk, or nonfat frozen yogurt.
